What is Reiki Healing? chatteris

Reiki is a simple Japanese energy-balancing method which has been used for centuries. It is most well known today as a hands-on treatment. Reiki is based on similar principles to acupuncture - that there are meridians of energy running through the body, and if one of these becomes blocked, ill-health can be the result. Reiki uses the universal energy to rebalance and replenish you, removing any physical or emotional blockages which may be causing you problems.

What are the benefits of Reiki Healing? chatteris

Reiki can produce:

* Deep relaxation

* Reduced stress & anxiety

* Boosted energy levels

* A feeling of inner calm, contentment and serenity

* A speeding up of the natural healing process

I think of Reiki as a building up a shield which helps protect you against all those flying daggers!

What is involved in a Reiki Healing Treatment? chatteris

You do not need to get undressed for a Reiki Treatment, which makes it suitable for those who do not like the idea of a massage. After a lifestyle consultation, where we explore the issues you want to focus on, you will lie on the couch and I will make sure you have a fleecy blanket to keep you warm. I will then go through a series of hand movements either on or above your body, which will channel the energy into the areas where you need it most. You will probably feel a lot of warmth, some people report seeing colours or visions. After the treatment, I will let you come back to yourself and give you some water. You will feel very relaxed, and the benefits should last for about a week.

I immediately felt the warmth calming my body and could feel the stress leaving. The therapist carried out the treatment calmly and quietly, and I would recommend this treatment for anyone feeling stressed.
